Exploring Century America

The Century America cites provided a good look at how our cite could look. It was notable how many variations the cites had and how different they could be. I liked that it seems possible to create a unique cite within the perimeters of the technology being used.

The Olmec cites I visited, the Emilie Diary page and the Guided Age Murder page were also interesting. I liked how easy to navigate the Diary page was and especially liked that the original diary was available on the cite. The murder cite seemed to have too much text, but I liked the interactive maps included on the cite.

Overall, I think exploring these cites was helpful to me in this process, and from the cites, I have learned the benefits of interactive components and the consequences of dense text that I will likely face during our project.
